Hygienist Treatment
The cost of a hygienist appointment is £59. We also offer airflow treatment with the hygienist, the fee for this is £115.
What happens in a hygienist appointment
- Examination - hygienist will check your medical history and ask about your oral health habits and assess the health of your gums and soft tissues
- Scaling - the hygienist will use an ultrasonic scaler and hand scaler to remove plaque and tartar from your teeth
- Polishing - the hygienist will polish your teeth to remove surface stains and make them easier to clean - this will be done after all cleaning has been completed
- Advice - the hygienist will provide you with advice on brushing, flossing, interdental cleaning and other oral health habits. They may also recommend oral care products.
- Please note - in some cases you will require more than one appointment to complete, this will be explained to you during the appointment.
Appointments
Appointments must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.
The fee for a missed appointment or cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time will be £24.50 (We will consider exceptional circumstances).
We do our best to ensure your appointment runs to time. For reasons beyond our control we may need to cancel or rearrange your appointment at short notice. In this unlikely event, we will make every effort to contact you in advance. We do not offer compensation if we cancel your appointment.
